The A selfie effectWhen I discovered The A EffectI was looking to set up a new development program for women in the Business and Professional Women (BPW) network.

The " Personal Empowerment Programme " (PEP) I had been running for over three years needed a refresher in content, and above all, the format (two days face-to-face) no longer corresponded to the current pace of life for professional women.

I was dreaming of a blended-learning program, a sort of "PEP 4.0". Looking for sources of inspiration, one day in November 2018 I discovered the L'effet A website.

It had a real " Aaa " effect on me! What really appealed to me was the format of the program and the quality of the content. I immediately said to myself: this is it! Why reinvent the wheel? This is what we need!

I contacted the founders about bringing the program to Switzerland. Two weeks later, with my partner Ingrid, we met the co-founders in Paris and convinced them to give it a try.

Very quickly, we gathered around this project a handful of committed people from a wide range of professional backgrounds: international companies, SMEs, banks, entrepreneurship, associations... it was a natural fit. All the people we presented the project to immediately embraced it. It was wonderful to see how visionary and committed men and women got involved!

And here we are six months later. The first session of "The A-Effect 100-Day Challenge" is knocking on the door! On September 20, we launched the pilot session - open to a very limited number of participants - enabling us to test the program and adapt it to the specific needs of the Swiss public.

How proud we are to serve a cause that cares about the advancement and professional development of women! Together, we're even prouder to have rallied some remarkable personalities and experts to this project: Florence Anglès, Maddalena di Meo, Cécile Dussart, Stéphane Royer, Romaine Jean, Geneviève Bauhofer, Eglantine Jamet and Sigolène Chavanne.

My special thanks go to Claire-Lise Rimaz, President of theAssociation Suisse des Cadres (ASC) in French-speaking Switzerland, who believed in this project from the outset and has given us invaluable support.

Thanks to this magnificent team, we're able to offer women and companies in the French-speaking part of Switzerland a unique and growing experience: the L'effet A 100-day Challenge. Because female ambition knows no boundaries.
